Are you suffering from recurrent miscarriages? A story of 13 years of pain… then a light of hope!

you ever experienced a pregnancy that didn’t come to term?

Have you felt that every time you dream of motherhood, the dream suddenly disappears?

Have you grown tired of visiting doctors, only to come out each time with the same result: “We don’t know the reason”?

Dr. Riham El Shal, specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, and IVF, says:

13 years of recurrent miscarriages!

The story we will talk about today is very touching, a patient who became pregnant five times over 13 years, but unfortunately, none of the pregnancies lasted. Every time hope was born, but it quickly evaporated, and even when she got the pregnancy news, her reaction was very ordinary:

“Oh, pregnant? It will miscarry soon, like every time before.”

But the day God willed the pregnancy to continue, it was an unforgettable moment. For the first time in her life, she saw her fetus move and saw its heartbeat!

The moment that changed everything…

Her mother was looking at the clinic’s secretary, praying for them, hugging them, and when she came in to hug me too!

Why? Because for the first time we had reached a stage of pregnancy she never dreamed she would reach!

I only saw this patient for two or three months, but thank God, during that time we worked on the causes of miscarriage that no one had noticed before.

God made us a reason, and for us, that is not a small achievement, especially after 13 years of hardship and waiting.

Types of recurrent miscarriage… and they’re not all the same!

Many people ask me:

“Does every woman who has a miscarriage need to rest and not move?”

The truth is no! Not all cases of recurrent miscarriage require rest because the causes of miscarriage are different, and what helps one case might harm another.

Let’s learn about some important types:

1. Cases of miscarriage caused by uterine contractions:

You feel cramps and contractions; if you move too much, the contractions increase, the cramps intensify, and the result is that the uterus expels the fetus. Here, rest is necessary.

2. Cases of fetal heartbeat stopping without symptoms:

The fetus appears normal, everything is going well, then suddenly during ultrasound, we discover the heartbeat has stopped. This is one of the hardest types of miscarriage because it happens suddenly and without warning.

3. Cases of cervical insufficiency at advanced stages:

The fetus grows and moves, but the cervix cannot hold and opens suddenly, causing the fetus to be expelled without cramps, bleeding, or any warning.

Have you seen how different miscarriage types are?

So each type has a different diagnosis, a different treatment, and a different approach.

The doctor’s role… and your role

The doctor not only diagnoses but must also choose the plan that fits your exact case. Do you need rest? Or would rest harm you? Do you need progesterone support? What type? How many doses?

Do you need tests? Or will they be a waste of time, money, and effort?

We oppose the idea of “general tests” because every case is different.

Some cases do many unnecessary tests that do not help their condition at all!

Why waste time and effort on something useless?

What about your role in this?

I will tell you something very important…

80% of recurrent miscarriage cases are linked to knowledge support.

What does this mean?

It means when a person understands, knows where they are, knows their condition, and knows the next step, they feel reassured. But those who don’t understand live in constant anxiety:

“What is happening to me? Why is this happening? Am I in danger? Is the fetus okay?”

This anxiety can affect the pregnancy.

Knowledge surrounds us with a halo of safety, like a beautiful prayer:

“O Allah, place light in my heart, above me, and beneath me…”

Knowledge is the light that protects you on your pregnancy journey.

And science?

Science is with the doctor, but the doctor’s role is to transfer the knowledge you need… explain, reassure, and support you.

A case from the patients…

One of the patients suffered from a hematoma around the gestational sac. Every time she had a bleeding “attack,” we treated her, stopped it, and continued to follow up.

But we do not know what will happen next; she does not know either, but she is reassured. Do you know why?

Because she understands her condition and knows that we have done all we can.

She told me:

“I don’t love you for no reason… you reassured me and made me feel that I am not alone.”

Knowledge support makes a difference!

Sometimes the patient’s family tells her:

“Don’t worry, we are with you.”

That is very nice, but they don’t understand her condition, so psychological support is complete when there is knowledge support from a doctor who understands, explains, guides, and supports.

That’s why we made a course on recurrent miscarriage

At “Tabibty” we made a full course for recurrent miscarriage cases.

The course explains in detail:

• What exactly are the causes of your miscarriage?

• The tests you should do, and those that are unnecessary.

• How to understand your condition?

• How to deal with it?

• And how to suggest a plan with your doctor that suits you?

So that you will be prepared, not lost, and not afraid.

So that the day you get pregnant, this pregnancy will be a Take Home Baby… a baby we hold in our arms and bring home safely.

In conclusion…

If you suffer from recurrent miscarriages…

Know that you are not alone, that there are causes, and there are solutions.

But the most important thing… is to proceed correctly, choose correctly, follow up with someone who understands, and build a knowledge support system that protects and reassures you.

God willing, the next time you say “I am pregnant,” you will truly be on the right path, and that path will continue to the end.
